Steppin' Out 2015 - Celebration of Hope

Steppin’ Out Gala Raises Funds for our “Building the Future — Today” Campaign  

Steppin’ Out 2015 – held on Saturday, October 10th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village – was a resounding success. The gala was attended by 530 people and raised over $395,000 for expansion of the chemotherapy infusion room, Center for Assault Treatment Services (CATS), & the expansion and remodel of the Emergency & Trauma Departments. 

At this year’s Steppin’ Out celebration, we celebrated Dignity Health- Northridge Hospital’s 60th Anniversary and were honored to present two awards. Grace Leland received the Celebration of Hope Award for her unwavering commitment and dedication to Northridge Hospital Medical Center. Our second award, the Grace Leland Physician Appreciation Award, was presented to Shawki D. Saad, M.D., for his excellence in his field, his commitment to saving lives, and his devotion to advancement of patients’ lives and the progress of healthcare at Northridge Hospital Medical Center.

The evening concluded with a performance by Splash Entertainment, the high energy band is on every Hollywood party planner’s most wanted list and has performed annually at the Emmy Awards Governors Ball and the Academy Awards Governors Ball.
